Job summary

A prominent accounting firm in Singapore is seeking an Account Assistant to manage data entry of invoices and payments, ensure timely document submission, maintain filing systems, and prepare payroll. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience and be familiar with accounting software like Xero. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate in Mandarin are essential. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in an account assistant role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Excel is required.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin with staff.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry of invoices/receipts into accounting system.
  • Ensure timely submission of daily invoices and documents.
  • Maintain proper filing of documents.
  • Accurate recording of payments into systems.
  • Prepare payroll and calculate overtime.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Data entry of all invoices/receipts into accounting system
  • Work closely with outlets to ensure daily invoices and documents are submitted timely
  • Maintain proper and up-to-date filing of documents
  • Record and apply outgoing and incoming payments accurately into systems
  • Prepare payroll, overtime calculation and incentive payment
  • Familiar with Xero accounting system
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office - Excel and Word
  • Be able to communicate in Mandarin with outlets staff
  • Must have at least 2 years account assistant working experience
  • any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Hybrid Work from Home. There will be regular monthly meeting via zoom.
