A leading recruitment platform in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Accounts Executive. The role involves assisting with data entry related to inventory/material movement, preparing monthly Accounts Receivable reports, and generating customer invoices. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with experience in accounting software. Assist the Senior Accounts Executive with daily data entry related to inventory/material movement in EOM and customer systems.
Prepare and maintain monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) reports, including AR ageing and sales-related reports.
Verify mid-month or month-end inventory quantities with the Senior Accounts Executive and provide necessary month-end balances to customers.
Generate customer invoices on a monthly basis.
Reconcile the AR subledger with the general ledger; create journal entries and adjustments when needed.
Support posting of AP invoices and processing payments as and when necessary.
Perform administrative duties such as data entry, documentation, and filing.
Serve as a backup for other accounting functions to support team continuity when needed.
Handle any ad hoc duties assigned by the Senior Accounts Executive or management.
REQUIREMENTS:Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience using accounting software such as SAP or ERP systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience:Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an accounting role
Education:Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or a related field
