Job Responsibilities
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment.
- Maintain and update vendor information, payment terms, and records accurately.
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger with general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Assist in monthly closing and financial report preparation.
- Prepare payment runs (GIRO, telegraphic transfers, online banking, cheques) and ensure timely payments.
- Support in other ad-hoc finance duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.
- Order office stationery and supplies.
- Arrange staff birthday celebrations and office small events (order food/cake).
- Arrange festive hampers for customers and staff.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, or UBS Accounting).
- Organized, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
