Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an accounting professional to monitor accounts receivables and payables, produce financial reports, and manage inventory. The ideal candidate will oversee monthly financial closing processes and improve systems and procedures. Experience in financial analysis and accounting practices is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors Accounts Receivables and Payables and reconciliation of payments.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
• Inventory monitoring and management including monthly stock take.
• Issuance of invoices and monthly reconciliation of sub-ledger.
• Responsible for monthly financial closing processes.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records.

Job description

• Monitors Accounts Receivables and Payables and reconciliation of payments and accruals
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements include cash flow, profit and loss statement and balance sheets
• Inventory monitoring and management, including monthly stock take
• Issuance of invoices, monthly reconciliation of sub-ledger to general Ledger and preparation of intercompanies statement
• Responsible for monthly financial closing processes
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Perform accounting analysis.
