Qualifications

Job Specifications:

Quality and Development

  • Develop and improve policies and processes
  • Implement plans that underpin the academic strategy of the institute.
  • Advise Associate Dean on the following as appropriate learning goals and teaching and assessment strategies wider aspects of the student's academic journey, including marketing, admission, orientation, support services
  • Support curriculum and course design and programme review in collaboration with faculty and external stakeholders
  • Support the creation and execution of pertinent programs, innovative teaching methodologies, effective pedagogical approaches, and educational technologies.
  • Effective document control, including reviewing, updating, and maintaining programme documentation, policies and process processes.
  • Support the accreditation processes and ensure compliance with academic standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise the academic delivery of courses/programs, including the Learning Management System (LMS) and examination procedures.
  • Support in establishing and managing a portfolio of academic partnerships and agreements.
  • Other academic-related tasks that may be assigned by the Associate Dean.

Teaching

  • Conduct lessons for up to 4 hours daily when required.
  • Provide assignments and assessments, examinations, and student feedback
  • Aid students in enriching their campus experience, promoting well-being, and advancing academically.
  • Support in pre- and post-course administrative tasks, including scheduling adjunct lecturers, managing material submissions, and overseeing the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collate and provide academic feedback on programme subjects, proposing enhancements to ensure the curriculum remains contemporary and pertinent

Job Requirements:

  • Min. Degree or Masters in open subject
  • Min. 3 years' experience in module and/or programme leadership, development, and administration within a higher education environment;
  • 3-4 years of teaching experience, particularly in diverse business disciplines, including Leadership and Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Brand Management, Business Venturing, International Business, Innovation, Business Strategy, and Hospitality
  • Teaching qualification, such as ACTA/ACLP or DACE/DDDLP, is preferred;
  • Experience in CPE is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese to liaise with China counterparts, preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrates strong time management abilities.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills essential for collaborating with teams across various business functions
