Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and meticulous talent in academic affairs and English teaching. You will be responsible for both lines:
- Academic Affairs Teacher: Manage student files efficiently, communicate with parents and assist in the daily operation of the center.
- English Teacher: Focus on teaching the highly regarded Cambridge KET course, helping primary school students solidify their English foundation and pass the exams smoothly.
Main Responsibilities
- Academic Affairs Management (50%)
- Be responsible for students' entrance tests, course arrangements and class assignments.
- Use the central management system to maintain and update student files and attendance records.
- Serve as the main communication bridge between parents and the teaching team, providing timely feedback on students' progress and handling inquiries.
- Assist in preparing teaching materials, learning reports and promotional activities of the center.
- English Teaching (50%)
- Full-time teaching of Cambridge KET preparation courses to ensure teaching quality and outcomes.
- Develop personalized study plans for students and conduct intensive training on their weak points.
- Prepare each class carefully to create a positive and highly interactive classroom atmosphere.
- Regularly conduct simulation tests to analyze students' performance and provide detailed progress reports to parents.
Job Requirements
- Hold a valid Singapore Work Pass or be a Singapore citizen/permanent resident.
- Bachelor's degree or above through unified enrollment, with priority given to those with a bachelor's degree or above in English-related fields. For English majors, at least TEM-4 must be passed; for non-English majors, CET-6 score of 650 or above or IELTS score of 7.5 or above is required.
- Possess rich teaching experience in KET courses and have a profound understanding of the examination syllabus.
- Possess excellent Chinese communication skills (for effective communication with local students and parents).
- Patient, organized, detail-oriented in personality, and possessing excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Experience as teaching assistants or teaching staff in educational institutions is preferred.
Working Hours
9:00-18:00 or 13:00-21:00 (depending on the course schedule), Tuesday to Thursday 1.5 days off. The specific vacation dates are arranged according to the campus or department's shift schedule.
