Job summary

Eaton is seeking an AC System Architecture expert for Data Center in APAC, with a focus on AI data center architecture based on the NVIDIA DSX standard. The role will engage with Sector segment teams and deliver designs that support APAC top accounts and strategic customers, including AWS, AirTrunk, Firmus, DayOne, ByteDance, and Alibaba.

The candidate will collaborate with the POD team to translate architecture into standard offerings and enable the front-end regional application engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of Chip-to-Grid total systems including transformers, power distribution, UPS, energy storage, batteries and cooling.
• Act as technical evangelist to translate electrical architecture into business metrics such as TCO, PUE, and IRR.
• Provide strategic consultancy and technical support during pre-sales for forward-looking technologies.
• Collaborate with POD and cross-division teams to define and build AI DC product portfolio.
• Represent the company in industry forums and meetings to showcase thought leadership and innovation.

Job description

Eaton's Electrical APAC is hiring an AC System Architecture, Data Center. The location could be open to China Mainland, Taiwan and Singapore.

What You’ll Do

This role is critical to shaping the future of data center design. The candidate will deeply engage in AI data center architecture based on the NVIDIA DSX standard, align closely with the Sector segment team, and deliver architecture designs that support APAC top accounts and strategic customers, including AWS, AirTrunk, Firmus, DayOne, ByteDance, and Alibaba. The candidate will also work closely with the POD team to translate the architecture into standard offerings and enable the front-end regional application engineering team.

• Lead the design and deployment of Chip-to-Grid total systems, covering both Gray Space and White Space solutions: transformers, power distribution, UPS, energy storage, batteries, and cooling systems.
• Act as a technical evangelist in front of C-level executives, translating electrical architecture into business metrics such as TCO, PUE, and IRR.
• Provide strategic consultancy and technical support during pre-sales, focusing on forward-looking technologies.
• Collaborate with POD team and cross divison team (CPS, PDSS, ,CPC, YINENG, RYAN) to define and build AI DC product portfolio
• Represent the company in industry forums such as DCW, CDCC and Critical segment meeting , showcasing thought leadership and innovation.
• Understand and define the GW AI Factory with deeply engage with GPUs regular meeting and solution development
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments to inform product strategy and customer guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years specializing in data center infrastructure with deep expertise in electrical systems.

Skills

• Data center infrastructure with a focus on Chip to Grids total systems, Data Center Power Infrastructure, e.g. Power Skid, Rack-level power systems, 380V/800V DC power systems, MVSST - Medium Voltage Solid State Transformer
• Proven ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Language: writing and oral English level
