Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a role involving project coordination and technical drafting. The successful applicant will manage M & E works, oversee construction activities, and prepare AutoCAD drawings. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma in a relevant field, be proficient in AutoCAD, and have 1 - 3 years of experience in engineering. Strong adaptability to project requirements is essential.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience preferred; entry level with strong technical skills may be considered.
  • Willingness to attend site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage M & E works.
  • Oversee on-site construction activities.
  • Prepare and review M & E drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Conduct inspections of M & E installations.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects and consultants.
  • Maintain proper drawing records and manage revisions.
  • Assist in site measurements and verification of works.

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Time: 9am to 6pm

Working Location: Toa Payoh

Salary: $ 2500 - $ 4000

This role involves both project coordination and technical drafting to support our projects from planning to completion.

Requirements
  • Diploma / Higher NITEC / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in Architecture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit MEP or other BIM software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of M & E systems, local codes and authority submission processes (BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA).
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience preferred; entry level with strong technical skills may be considered.
  • Willingness to attend site visits and adapt to project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage M & E works, liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities for submissions and approvals.
  • Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with standards, codes and safety regulations.
  • Prepare, update and review M & E drawings using AutoCAD (Knowledge of Revit MEP / BIM is an advantage).
  • Conduct inspections of M & E installations, such as Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects and consultants to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain proper drawing records, manage revisions and prepare submission / as-built documentation.
  • Assist in site measurements, verification of works and other ad-hoc project-related tasks.
