Location: Tuas (Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($800) if candidate drives to work)
Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
Basic: $5800 to $6200 + Handphone Reimbursement: Capped at $60 (Based on bill or receipt) + Sign‑on Bonus (T&C apply)
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and industry.
- Good knowledge of operations and safety.
Responsibilities
Operations Function
- Ensure all contractors adhere to the stipulated requirement for waste collection (e.g., PPE, documentation, etc.). This includes following up with the contractor on the collection progress whenever necessary.
- Handle queries and requests from customers regarding waste collection. Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service staff on issues raised and complaints.
- Be responsible for the requirements of authorities (e.g., NEA, LTA, etc.) related to waste collection.
- Develop a KPI for contractors and suppliers for evaluating their service rendered to the company.
- Attend plant‑level coordination meetings (e.g., EHS meeting, operation meeting, sales meeting, etc.).
- Back‑up the logistics executive on transportation scheduling and other administrative issues.
- Plan for logistics transport capacity requirements (e.g., pumps, hoses, trucks, etc.).
- Follow up on the maintenance program for all logistics equipment, inclusive of pumps, trucks, tankers, chassis, etc. This involves gathering an internal team or outsourcing to a competent contractor.
Administrative Function
- Handle submissions for all transportation containment inclusions (e.g., new rental ISO tanks, after‑office waste collection, etc.) to the authorities.
- Check and verify charges (e.g., invoices, etc.) from supplier/contractor of logistics support function, and follow up with any discrepancies. Consolidate monthly expenditure cost data updates (transportation, labor, cost, etc.).
- Ensure that the vehicle parking certificate for all vehicles is renewed annually and complies with the LTA’s requirements.
- Manage all staff in the logistics department, including conducting interviews and performance evaluations. This also involves coordinating training as per requirements.
- Report on monthly progress concerning cost‑reduction measures, bottlenecks, and solutions to the logistics director.
- Update logistics transport records and monthly logistics transport reports (costing, budget, expenses, etc.).
