Job description

Responsibilities

• Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Understanding project specifications and requirements from technical drawings.
• Material Preparation: Measuring, cutting, and shaping metal parts using various tools and machinery.
• Welding Techniques: Employing techniques like MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to join metal components.
• Equipment Operation: Setting up, maintaining, and safely operating welding equipment.
• Inspection and Testing: Ensuring welds meet quality standards, including visual inspection and potentially non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Collaboration: Working with other tradespeople and team members.
• 6G Specific: Welding in a fixed 45-degree position (6G) where the welder does not rotate the pipe.
