Senior Finance Executive

Location: Balestier Road
Working Days: Mon–Fri
Working Hours: 9am–6pm
Salary: $4,000–$4,500

Overview

Assist and support the Finance Manager in day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations, covering full financial accounting, internal audit, compliance, and reporting. Ensure accuracy, quality, and effective consolidation of financial data to support efficient finance processes and organisational governance.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
  • Manage and maintain full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets).
  • Provide accounting support to programmes and staff; address financial queries promptly.
  • Perform month‑end and year‑end closing to ensure accurate management accounts and financial statements aligned with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Prepare and submit ad‑hoc financial reports on time.
Budgeting
  • Support the annual budgeting process.
  • Support mid‑year review exercises.
Internal / Statutory Audit
  • Assist with internal audit activities as required.
  • Handle statutory audit preparation, including schedules and liaison with external auditors.
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards.
  • Review and propose improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
Ad Hoc
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • ACCA / CA / Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a preschool or charity fund environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
  • Experienced in maintaining full sets of accounts and preparing financial reports.
