Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Accounts Payable Executive for a 5-month contract in Singapore. Responsibilities include managing Accounts Payable processes and supporting month-end activities. Ideal candidates have 2 years of experience and are bilingual in English and Mandarin. This role offers a hybrid working style and competitive salary benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin for client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, verification, and payments.
  • Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial operations by coordinating with the Finance team.
  • Support the Assistant Manager/Manager and Japan HQ with ad-hoc tasks and reporting.

Position Details
  • Position : 5 Months Contract - Accounts Payable Executive - 3 Days WFH - GOOD COMPANY!!!!

  • Location : Near Tuas West MRT (Transport Provided: Yishun, Woodlands, Jurong East and Boon Lay MRT)

  • Working hours : 9am – 5.45pm/ Monday to Friday - On Hybrid Working Style : 2 days work from the office, 3 days work from home — NO OT REQUIRED!!!

  • Salary : Up to $4200 + Leave benefits will be base on MOM calculation

  • Duration : 5 months contract — Starting in mid November 2025 (covering maternity leave)

  • Industry : WHOLESALE OF OTHER MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, verification, and payments.

  • Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries (accruals, reclassifications), account reconciliations, and audit schedules.

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial operations by coordinating with the Finance team.

  • Support the Assistant Manager/Manager and Japan HQ with ad-hoc tasks and reporting.

  • Finance & Accounting Knowledge

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
