Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Data Protection Officer in Singapore.   • Ensure internal data usage complies with Government IM policies.
  • Gather inputs for the Secured Data Exchange Agreement.
  • Coordinate DSI compliance assessments with external auditors.
  • Assist in reviewing and rolling out updated data security policies.
  • Promote data best practices by organizing events and designing internal EDMs.

$3160/Mth | Data Protection Officer | Mon–Fri (Office Hours)

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to:

  • Implement a Tiered Data Governance Framework and Data Security Instructions (DSI)
  • Ensure internal data usage complies with Government IM policies (collection, use, disclosure)
  • Gather inputs from divisions to support the Secured Data Exchange Agreement (SDEA)
  • Coordinate DSI compliance assessments with external auditors and sector partners
  • Assist in reviewing and rolling out updated data security policies
  • Promote data best practices by:
    • Organising events like quarterly Data Community Exchanges and annual Hackathons
    • Designing internal EDMs and reviewing the Data Sharing Guide
  • Perform other duties related to data governance and strategy as required

Working Hours
