Job summary

A dental clinic in Singapore is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide four-handed dentistry assistance and support in adhering to infection control measures. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for long hours and is keen on dentistry. This role includes administrative support for laboratory cases and sterilization of dental instruments. Training on the job is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide Four-handed dentistry assistance to Dental Surgeon/Dental Officer/Oral Health Therapist.
• Adhere to infection control measures, procedures, and protocols.
• Provide administrative support for laboratory cases and clinic's inventories.
• Support sterilization and decontamination of dental instruments.
• Participate in quality improvement activities within the Dental Clinic.

Skills

Ability to stand for long hours

Keen interest in Dentistry

Comfortable with blood and saliva

Working Hours: 5.5 days Office Hours

Job Scope:

• Provides Four-handed dentistry assistance to Dental Surgeon/Dental Officer/Oral Health Therapist is the main role as a Dental Assistant in Dental Clinic.
• Adhering to establish infection control measures, procedures and protocols.
• Providing administrative support for laboratory cases, consumables, clinic’s inventories and equipment maintenance.
• Support required for Sterilization and Decontamination of Dental Instruments at times.
• Participate or support in quality improvement activities within Dental Clinic.

Requirements:

• Able to stand for long hours
• Keen in Dentistry
• Not afraid of blood and saliva
