Job description

We are assisting a prominent offshore firm seeking a talented associate to join its litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice in Singapore. This team advises on high value cross border disputes, complex restructurings and contentious matters involving financial institutions, corporates and insolvency stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

The role involves managing your own matters and discrete aspects of larger instructions, contributing to strategy, drafting high quality submissions, handling client communications and ensuring work is delivered to a senior associate standard. You will also supervise junior lawyers and paralegals, helping to develop capability across the wider group.

Candidates should be England and Wales qualified with approximately 3–5 years’ PQE and strong dispute resolution experience. Mandarin language skills are essential given client demands and regional workflow. Excellent academics, strong judgment and the ability to manage demanding workloads will be important.

You will contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives, support know how development and play an active role in strengthening the team’s profile in the region.
