Job summary

Unity's Singapore office is seeking a Software Engineer to work on 2D tooling, AI automation, and editor/runtime features using C# and C++. You will join the 2D team in Singapore and collaborate with colleagues across Unity, with mentoring, code reviews, and growth opportunities in AI-enabled tooling.

You will write maintainable C# code, build APIs for LLM-driven tooling, expand test coverage, and help ensure quality by debugging and responding to creator needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# or another OO language.
• Interest in LLM capabilities and limits.
• Willingness to learn C++.
• Problem-solving mindset and persistence.
• Strong written communication and proactive questions.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, maintainable C# to build 2D features in the Unity Editor and runtime.
• Build the agent-facing layer for 2D tooling with APIs for LLM operation.
• Extend automation into test coverage to catch regressions.
• Investigate and fix bugs reported by the community.
• Review agent performance against creator workflows and feedback into tooling.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure team success.
