Job summary

A leading HR consultancy is seeking a technician to install, repair, and maintain cable systems in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have NITEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, with skills in troubleshooting cabling issues. This role offers a salary range of $2000 - $3300, working from Monday to Friday, and is primarily located in Mandai Estate - Kranji / Yew Tee.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronic, or IT, or relevant work experience.
• Class 3 driving license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, test, and commission cable systems.
• Perform termination and testing of new cabling.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems.

• Salary range: $2000 - $3300
• Working days: Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 8am-5pm / 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Working Location: Mandai Estate - Kranji / Yew Tee

Job Description

• Install, repair, test & commission cable systems (voice/data/fibre optics)
• Performs termination and testing of new cabling
• Prepare / Install cable pathways & supports
• Assist in the preparation of tools & materials used for daily work assignments
• Troubleshoot cabling system issues & perform repairs & maintenance
• Assist co-workers with installation & routine maintenance of structured cabling systems
• Work closely with client to manage schedule operations of assigned duties.

Requirements

• NITEC (Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology/ Electronic / IT ) or work- related experience
• Class 3 driving license would be advantageous
