Job summary

A leading IT service provider in Singapore is seeking an L1 Security Engineer to provide 24×7 support for their Data Center. You will be responsible for maintaining security systems, investigating potential security events, and conducting routine risk analysis. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in IT infrastructure operations and a customer-oriented attitude. This position requires a 12-hour shift working capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in IT infrastructure operation.
• 12-hour shift working capability.
• Good knowledge of security products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24×7 support for the Data Center on a 12‑hour shift schedule.
• Maintain systems to protect against unauthorized access.
• Support logs, prioritize, track, and route incidents.
• Interact to guide on authentication and encryption solutions.
• Investigate known and suspected security events.
• Conduct hardware and software security alerts.
• Respond to IT threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct routine security risk analysis.
• Implement change and service requests.
• Perform patching on security equipment.
