Job summary
Singapore Airlines Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Controller to join the Maintenance Operations team in the SIA Engineering Division.
The role provides 24-hour technical advice and support to THAs servicing SIA aircraft at line stations worldwide. The successful candidate will be a Licensed Aircraft Engineer with extensive line maintenance experience, capable of working on a 24/7 shift, delivering timely technical solutions and coordinating with multiple departments to minimise delays and AOG
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities with various user departments.
- Strong planning and organisational capabilities with attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting schedules.
- Good IT skills and familiar with aviation maintenance systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor technical status of aircraft during flight and report defects.
- Provide technical advice to flight crew and THAs for on-ground rectifications.
- Coordinate with THAs to manage delays and AOG situations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, OCC and other divisions on operations.
- Sourcing and tracking AOG/spares usage and loan.
- Act as focal point for Engineering matters in daily operations.
- Troubleshoot defects encountered at Line Station.
- Ensure technical documents are up-to-date.
- Monitor planned work and unplanned rectifications on night-stopped aircraft.
- Generate reports on delays and ground incidents.
