Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Multimedia and Audio Visual Instructor to design and deliver ICT training for students and staff. You will support ICT projects, photograph events, and manage media assets while collaborating with teachers on digital tools and lesson integration.

The role requires expertise in multimedia production, AV equipment, and editing workflows, with a focus on engaging learners and ensuring smooth event operations across a school environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or related field with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Fluent verbal and written English for engaging lessons and workshops.
• Ability to design age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned ICT training materials.
• Familiarity with Windows, Android, iOS, Chromebooks, iPads; proficiency with Google Workspace and MS 365 for Education.
• Proficiency in Scratch and/or MakeCode; Micro:bit knowledge is a plus.
• Photography and videography skills with editing using Photoshop, Lightroom or Premiere Pro.
• Video/audio recording, editing, and exporting; maintain Google Sites and troubleshoot websites.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot projectors, PA systems, displays, visualisers; adapt to new tools.

Responsibilities

• Photograph and film school events; advise on recording arrangements and deliver edited media.

Job position: Multimedia and Audio Visual Instructor

Salary range: 2800-3500

Name of Authority: Bowen SecondarySchool

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31December 2027.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 5:30pm; Fridays:8:00am to 5:00pm. Each day includes a one-hour lunch break.
• One Saturday per year is required for the SchoolOpen House, with advance notice and time off on the next working day.
• Service not required on other Saturdays, Sundaysand gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

• Diploma from a recognised institution,preferably in IT, with at least three years of relevant experience. Candidateswithout a diploma may be considered based on relevant experience and expertise.
• Verbal and written English skills to conductengaging lessons and workshops.
• Ability to design age-appropriate,curriculum-aligned training and resources for learners with different ICTproficiency levels.
• Familiarity with Windows, Android, iOS,Chromebooks and iPads; proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 forEducation, Canva, Kami and WeVideo.
• Proficiency in Scratch and/or Microsoft MakeCodeand computational thinking; Micro:bit knowledge is an advantage.
• Photography and videography skills, includingcomposition, lighting, camera settings, event coverage and editing usingPhotoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent tools.
• Video/audio recording, editing and exportskills; proficiency maintaining Google Sites and troubleshooting basic websiteissues.
• Ability to set up, operate and troubleshootprojectors, PA systems, display screens and visualisers; collaborate with staffand adapt to new tools.

Job Scopes:

1. Design anddeliver student and staff ICT training, including productivity, creative andcoding tools, photo/video editing and fundamental photography.
2. Support students'ICT and multimedia Student-Initiated Learning projects.
3. Photograph andfilm school events, productions, student submissions and alumni; advise onrecording arrangements and venues, and deliver edited media to agreedrequirements and timelines.
4. Maintain GoogleSites content, event pages and visual assets; create graphics, banners andcollages, obtain staff approval and resolve basic issues.
5. Work withteachers and the ICT team on training, projects and ICT-integrated lessons,advising on suitable digital tools.
6. Provide ad-hoc AVsetup, operation and troubleshooting for events and daily operations, respondto urgent AV issues and undertake other school ICT duties.
