Job description

Name of School: Maris Stella High School (Primary)

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:30am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break (must be willing to start work from 6.30am.)
  • Friday: 6:30am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break.
  • Lunch break: 12.30pm to 1.15pm.
  • Service not required on: Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
Job Scopes
Reception
  • Handle telephone calls.
  • Manage the reception counter – attending to all students, parents and walk‑in visitors’ queries.
  • Attend to goods delivery on behalf of staff.
General Administration
  • Assist in managing the sickbay by attending to unwell students and providing first‑aid (e.g., open wound such as knee abrasion, cut finger, nose bleeding, fever).
  • Attend to students leaving school early.
  • Handle lost and found money and items.
  • Assist in admin duties such as data entry, laminating, etc.
  • Pack and disseminate brochures, forms and information booklets.
  • Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the reception area and sick bay.
  • Pack items into carton boxes for relocation to the holding site in preparation for the school move.
  • Any other duties assigned when required.
Requirements
  • Singapore Cambridge General Certificate of Education Normal Level (GCE N Level) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience in reception duties and/or general administration in a school setting, preferably in a primary school.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in administering first aid to students.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good team player with initiative.
  • Professional demeanour with a pleasant and approachable disposition.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good customer service skills.
