Job summary

DCI CONSULTANTS PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. You will drive secure software delivery processes, automation, and observability across the lifecycle, working with cloud platforms, containers, and infrastructure as code.

The role emphasizes security by design and compliance with security frameworks. The candidate should have 5–10 years of experience, strong scripting, and experience in provisioning, orchestration, and database management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, with special focus on full automation, consistent environments within the lifecycle and process observability.
• Integrates security into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring applications and infrastructure are secure by design.
• Drive compliance with agreed security frameworks.
• Collaborate with development and operations team to address vulnerabilities early and continuously improve security practices.
• Responsible for designing and maintaining a secure system architecture for application development and deployment.
• Experience in automation of software production, integration, testing and deployment including dynamic deployment of running environment.
• Experience in Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.
• Experience in infrastructure provisioning and platform configuration with Configuration Management tools like Ansible or Terraform or equivalent, deployment observability and analysis.
• Experience in system administration with main OS events management and scripting languages, Linux system observability and analysis.
• Source Code Management and GitOps principles, pipeline automation.
• Repositories deployment, configuration and management.
• Data parsing & manipulation, Extract, Transform and Load solutions and Stream Management solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including but not limited to Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Working experience on database administration
• Proficient in PL/SQL scripting
• Proficient in at least one database and basic principles; MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB are all acceptable
• Experience in database construction, migration, upgrade, maintenance, etc.
• Experience in assessing the impact of future improvements on the system with relevant parties
• Experience in determining maintenance approaches for system changes based on vendor's guidelines and recommendations
• Experience performing routine data backup and recovery activities, and in monitoring and optimising the performance of the database
• Experience in planning for upgrading of databases and oversight of database maintenance, troubleshooting, backup and recovery activities
• Experience in investigating methods to improve performance through discussing the system performance findings with stakeholders and accessing technical resources
• Experience in setting up and monitoring user access control to the database
• Experience in developing and maintaining stored procedures, data masking scripts and data sync scripts
• Familiar with cloud operation and DB security management
• Familiar with Linux basic operation
