Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate environmental and safety needs focusing on areas such as air permitting, wastewater management, ergonomics, and hazardous materials — and propose effective solutions and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop, lead, and implement EHS compliance programs aligned with company goals.
- Provide EHS expertise for new processes, products, and technologies, participating actively in change control processes.
- Research, analyze, and interpret EHS data to prepare detailed reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate incidents and compliance deviations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop, review, and deliver specialized EHS training programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Act as liaison with government and regulatory agencies on EHS matters when required.
- Conduct internal audits and site inspections to ensure continuous compliance and drive EHS improvement.
- Serve as a back‑up emergency incident commander and/or safety officer as needed.
- Perform other EHS‑related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local EHS regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
