Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd. is hiring a Biotechnologist for a 1-year contract to support GMP manufacturing in Cell Culture and Purification. You will follow SOPs, record data, monitor equipment, and perform routine lab tasks under cGMP conditions.

The role requires a degree or diploma in chemical, bioengineering or pharmaceutical engineering, GMP experience, and willingness to work shifts in PPE, including potential cold rooms and confined spaces. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• GMP experience required.
• Willing to work shifts, holidays, overtime; work in cold rooms/confined spaces, around chemicals and wear PPE.
• Good documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and critical manufacturing operations in Cell Culture and Purification under cGMP.
• Follow SOPs, record data in EBM/MBRs/MFRs, monitor equipment, perform basic lab tests (sampling, pH, conductivity).
• Apply aseptic technique, troubleshoot process issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support equipment cleaning, assembly/disassembly, 5S, and changeover activities.
