Production Engineering Technician (Chemical industry)

Location: Tuas, Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate possess own transport

Salary: $1800 - $2700 + Entitled Overtime / Shift Allowances

Working days: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm) / Shift Work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am)

Requirements

Minimum ITE or Diploma holder; Engineering or Chemistry field preferred.

Experience in chemical engineering and analytical procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions.
• Operate the process equipment at site in accordance with operation plan.
• Maintain and ensure all equipment are in good working condition.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to SOP and guideline.
• Assist in coordination of daily maintenance and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
• Perform 5S and ensure a secure, clean and safe work area.
