Role:
Process Engineer (Chemical)
- Singapore Based (Tuas, Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate manages own transport)
- 5 Days work per week (Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm)
- Basic: $4000 to $4300
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry Engineering, or a related field. + At least 2 years of relevant experience in water treatment plant or process plant facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Study and review the equipment and Design treatment processes in Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP). Be responsible for the water quality compliance for individual WWTP plant.
- Assist in maintaining proper maintenance and safety integrity of plant.
- Ensuring all equipment is in working condition with minimum downtime and regular servicing is carried out.
- Ensure all designated equipment calibrations and inspections are up to date.
- Work closely with PSM team and lab department on waste flow and waste treatment method.
- Assist in promoting WSH activities to technician(s).
- Assist in optimization of operation treatment, manpower allocation as well as continuous improvement on WWTP operation.
- Ensure the treated wastewater compliance with sewer discharge limit.
- Adhere to all safety requirements within the plant, such as safe work practices, SOP.
- Perform other duties assigned by manager which may be assigned from time to time.
Daily work activities
- Raise WR based on the Plant operation plan.
- Apply LOTO or PTW based on the maintenance job or shutdown job.
- Arrange equipment maintenance job shutdown plant.
Report preparation
- FCE/SSC or MOLI/TDS or PTS/COD plant operation checklist/log sheet review.
- SOP/RA revised regularly.
- WWTP Equipment and spare part list update accordingly.
- Process failure report and troubleshooting manual update.
- MOC preparation and close.
Access to external submission/reporting
- Submit penstock data monthly to PUB.
- Submit penstock maintenance and calibration report to PUB monthly.

- Contact with Engineer/contractor for the shutdown/maintenance job.
