Planning Manager (Construction / Up to $8800)
Role: Planning Manager responsible for coordinating tender planning, site facilities and contractor workshops.
- Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Office: City Hall
- Salary: $6000 to $8800 per month
Requirement
Minimum 12 years of experience in construction site work and planning work.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Costing Department, M&E Department and Business Department on tender requirements.
- Cooperate with construction department staff in tender planning and EHS matters.
- Attend subcontractor/supplier workshop meetings pertaining to various tenders and prepare necessary documentation.
- Ensure proposed planning aligns with drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
- Create a suitable Microsoft Project schedule (or equivalent) showing proper work sequence from commencement to completion.
- Propose a feasible alternative Temporary Site Facility.
- Propose suitable construction sequence for Structural and Architectural works, noting authority requirements and contract specifications.
- Propose the most cost‑effective ERSS for the Costing Department.
- Provide technical support for the tender team on consultant queries.
- Estimate manpower and resources required for a tender project.
- Collaborate with the Project Team on proposals during the tender stage once the tender is successful.
- Review tender documents, specifications, drawings and highlight discrepancies, value engineering and key items for the tender team.
- Participate in safety site inspections to check on‑site safety, workmanship and other site conditions.
- Proficient in using software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD.
- Review construction preview submitted by the project team and coordinate with them to obtain Japan HQ approval.
- Assist office management in improving site EHS.
