Job description

Role:

Mechanical Engineering Technician

  • Location: Tuas
  • (Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate travel to work by themselves)
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm) / Shift Work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am)
  • Basic salary: $2,000 – $2,700 (Entitled to overtime / shift work allowances) + Sign-on bonus (T&C apply)
Requirements

Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in Process Plant.

Responsibilities

Preventive maintenance on all the equipment in plant as per instruction.

Inspect and do corrective action on the equipment.

Updating of preventive maintenance records such as history card checklist.

Record daily job activities in logbook.

Minimize equipment breakdowns and down-time through effective problem identification.

Perform overhauls and maintenance on fans, blowers, various types of pumps, motors, and other equipment.

Install new equipment and perform inspections to ensure reliable operation.
