M&E Engineer (Project Contract Based / Marine Construction)
- Project contract based (start from 29 Jan 2024, estimate 27 months until project completion)
- Work Location: Changi Naval Base, office at (Lavender area)
- Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday 8am to 5pm Full Day
- Salary: $3000 to $4000
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Good technical knowledge in mechanical & electrical trades.
Good knowledge of Local Code/Regulation Knowledge pertaining to M&E services, building construction, and safety.
Job Scope
- Control site progress & installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions, and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule for on-time completion.
- Appraisal for works/products compliance to Specifications/Requirements and selection recommendation.
- Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality.
- Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspection, managing RE, RTO, and responsible for clearing QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.
- Provide and maintain all site inspection records & T&C records up to date.
- Responsible for variation order cost collection, cost verification of the VO works, and making necessary recommendations for VO prices.
- To check, evaluate, and confirm work done and material supply quantity status for the purpose of M&E sub-contractor/NSC vendors' progress payments including instruction on progress substantiation document preparation by sub-contractors and vendors.
- Responsible for site implementation of safety standards to comply with IMS safe work methods.
- Responsible for attendance at daily site coordination meetings and providing detailed coordination with subcontractors.
