Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is hiring an Electrical Technician / Smart Home Installer to install smart home hardware and manage wiring for various residences.

The role covers smart switch installation, CCTV integration, and on-site troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring proper cable routing and device commissioning. Reporting to the site supervisor, you will wire LED drivers, ceiling fan controllers, and PoE components.

Qualifications

• 2+ years residential electrical experience in switch installation, DB work, cable management.
• Possess own motorbike / transport for travelling to sites.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Install smart switches (Zigbee 3.0, neutral and non-neutral) in HDB, condo, and landed homes.
• Wire and commission LED drivers, dimmers, and relay modules.
• Install and wire ceiling fan controllers, motorised curtain motors, and blind isolators.
• Connect and test PoE switches, access points, and structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A).
• Perform pre-electrical checks at new sites (verify wiring readiness before smart home deployment).
• Coordinate with client interior designer and electrician on provisions and cable routing.

Job description

Role: Electrical Technician / Smart Home Installer

Salary: $2200 - $3500
Working Days: Mon - Fri + Alternate Saturdays
Working Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Less OT)
Reporting Location: Tampines North

Job Scope: Smart Switch Installation

• Install smart switches (Zigbee 3.0, neutral and non-neutral) in HDB, condo, and landed homes
• Wire and commission LED drivers, dimmers, and relay modules
• Install and wire ceiling fan controllers, motorised curtain motors, and blind isolators
• Connect and test PoE switches, access points, and structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A)
• Perform pre-electrical checks at new sites (verify wiring readiness before smart home deployment)
• Coordinate with client interior designer and electrician on provisions and cable routing

CCTV and Intercom

• Install and wire CCTV systems (NVR, cameras, PoE)
• Install video doorbell stations and indoor intercom units
• Terminate and crimp Cat6 runs, test cable integrity
• Mount outdoor cameras and weatherproof connections

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

• Diagnose switch/driver faults on-site (burnt PCB, loose connections, power trips)
• Replace faulty switches, drivers, and sensors during warranty visits
• Support networking troubleshooting when needed (backup to Krishnan)
• Document all completed work with photos in ClickUp
