0731 - Construction Site Supervisor (Up to $4000)

Role: Construction Site Supervisor. Working Days: 5 days a week (Mon–Fri) 8:30am‑5:30pm. Saturday may require half day depending on project (OT may be claimed). Office: City Hall, site at Jurong West (nearest MRT Lakeside). Salary: $2800–$4000.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Singapore.
  • Able to accept additional work that forms part of the project team activities.
Job Scope
  • Attend all daily sub‑contractors meetings to discuss structure and architectural issues and meet project target schedule.
  • Check site progress and safety compliance of subcontractors, report findings to the immediate superior and safety officer.
  • Ensure subcontractors’ works are done according to approved drawings/details, take remedial actions for non‑conformance.
  • Conduct daily inspections with project RE or RTO, take actions to clear their comments and ensure works are approved for commencement.
  • Keep proper records of inspection forms for future reference and submit as evidence for legal issues arising from unforeseen future defects.
  • Show added confidence when dealing with general workers or subcontractors and peers; seek consultation with senior site staff when in doubt; understand contractors’ contractual obligations; practice mutual respect at all levels.
  • Strive to achieve fast and efficient approval for all assignments, always be vigilant with keen observation to put into practice BCA good practice in all aspects of work on site.
  • Assist the Environmental Health Safety program set by the PM and WSHO to contribute to a safe and clean site.
  • Make effort to upgrade oneself to meet/exceed present standards through attendance of construction courses by BCA or equivalent institutions and study on cost‑saving methods that are feasible for site usage.
  • Provide guidance to new site supervisors that join the company to ensure seamless integration to the team without affecting site progress.
