Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. invites applications for a Lecturer role in Singapore. You will plan, deliver lectures and tutorials across levels, create learning resources, and implement blended/online strategies to meet programme outcomes.

You will lead curriculum development, review modules, assess coursework, and support students with academic guidance. Prior tertiary teaching experience is essential; familiarity with LMS like Blackboard is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communication or related disciplines.
• 2–4 years of tertiary teaching in higher education.
• Experience in module/programme leadership and curriculum development.
• Knowledge of LMS and digital teaching technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and learning activities for students at multiple levels.
• Maintain and develop academic standards through teaching delivery and programme review.
• Develop and review teaching materials and online learning strategies.
• Set, administer, and mark coursework and examinations; review papers and conduct assessments.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback and academic guidance.
• Advise students on performance and career pathways.
• Perform academic administration, including quality assurance and compliance.
• Support development of new programmes and partnerships.
• Lead as Module Leader or Programme Leader where assigned.
• Utilise LMS and digital teaching technologies to enhance learning.
• Participate in knowledge exchange and academic activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Salary: $4,000 - $6,500
• Location: Central
• Working Days: 5 days
• Working Hours: Mon – Thur8.30am – 6pm / Fri 8.30am – 5.30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, lessons, and asynchronous learning activities for students across different levels, including overseas colleges where required.
• Maintain and develop academic standards through effective teaching delivery, curriculum review, and continuous improvement of programmes.
• Develop and review teaching materials, learning resources and blended/online learning strategies aligned with programme learning outcomes.
• Set, administer, and mark coursework and examinations; review examination papers, manage moderation processes and conduct objective assessments for examination appeal cases.
• Monitor students’ academic progress through formative and summative assessments, provide feedback, academic guidance, and support students’ skills development.
• Advise students on academic performance, career opportunities, and further study pathways.
• Perform academic administration duties, including programme documentation, quality assurance reviews, inspections, and compliance requirements.
• Support the development of new programmes, academic partnerships, and course development initiatives.
• Lead as Module Leader or Programme Leader where assigned and monitor the performance of Associate Lecturers.
• Utilise Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard), e-learning platforms, and digital teaching technologies to enhance learning effectiveness.
• Participate in knowledge exchange and professional activities related to the subject area, as well as academic committees, marketing events, and other school activities.
• Perform other duties or projects assigned by the Assistant Director (Academic) or Director of School.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Media & Communication, Journalism, Film Production or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of tertiary teaching experience within a higher education environment.
• Experience in module/programme leadership, curriculum development and academic administration.
• Knowledge and experience with Learning Management Systems, e-learning platforms and digital teaching technologies.
