Job summary

A recruiting firm in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Technician to conduct laboratory analyses, maintain inventory, and assist in technical development projects. The ideal candidate should have at least an ITE or Diploma in Chemistry or related fields, and experience in precious metals is a plus. Work schedule is 5.5 days a week, with a salary range of $2200 to $2700 plus OT. Career progression opportunities included.

Qualifications

Working experience in precious metal/base metal is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

To conduct final sample preparation in final sampling room.
To conduct laboratory analysis and reporting.
To assist chemist in technical development project.
To maintain the inventory of all laboratory facilities/equipment.
To check, record and report on the inventory of all laboratory supplies.
To carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per schedule.
To ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.
To follow the existing system and documentation as per the procedures.

Role

Laboratory Technician (Chemical / Up to $2700 + OT) (Singapore Based (Tuas, Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate possess own transport)

5.5 Days work per week (Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm); Sat (8am - 12pm) + OT)
At least ITE or Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Process Technology/Material Science or equivalent
Working experience in precious metal/ base metal is an added advantage.
$2200 to $2700 + entitled OT
