Role: Construction Engineer (Entry Level / Up to $5400)

  • Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Office at (City Hall)
  • Salary: $3800 to $5400

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structure Engineering
  • Relevant site / building construction experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
  • To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
  • To verify the work done on site are in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
  • To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP to minimise delay to the construction progress.
  • To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
  • To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
  • Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
  • Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
  • Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for Conquers, RI, TOP etc.
  • To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
  • Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
  • Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.
