Job summary

A reputable HR consultancy is looking for a Production Chemical Technician in Tuas. The role involves operating equipment, maintaining safety standards, and working under specified conditions. Ideal candidates are ITE or Diploma holders in Engineering or Chemistry with experience in chemical engineering. Shift work applies, and transport is provided from the west MRT station or an allowance offered if you possess your own transport.

• Perform 5S and ensure a secure, clean, and safe work area.

Job description

Role: Production Chemical Technician

Location: Tuas, Transport provided in west MRT station / Transport allowance $120 if possess own transport

Basic: $2400 to $2700 + Entitled to OT

Working hours: 5.5 work week shift work (Mon-Fri: 8am – 5pm; Sat: 8am – 12pm) + OT

Responsibilities

• Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions.
• Operate the process equipment at site in accordance with operation plan.
• To maintain and make sure that all equipment is in good working condition.
• To prepare chemical solutions according to SOP and guideline.
• Assist in coordination of daily maintenance and participating in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
• To perform 5S and ensure a secure, clean, and safe work area.
