Job summary

A local educational institution in Singapore is seeking an administrative support professional to handle customer inquiries and perform various office tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and knowledge in word processing. This position requires multitasking and excellent phone etiquette. Work hours are from Monday to Friday, with weekends off.

• Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break

• Fridays: 9:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Job Scopes
  • 1. Answer incoming calls.
  • 2. Attend to walk-in customers at front desk.
  • 3. Attend to students who are unwell and informing their parents of the students’ condition.
  • 4. Provide admin support for management of students under financial assistance schemes.
  • 5. Manage refreshment orders for meetings and visits.
  • 6. Maintenance of stationery store, including issuing, monitoring, and replenishment of stock.
  • 7. Fax, photocopy, laminate and bind documents.
  • 8. Record incoming and outgoing mails.
  • 9. Manage staff mail tray in office regularly.
  • 10. Sort and distribute brochures to staff/students.
  • 11. Booking of bus transportation for students.
  • 12. Print class lists, update teachers and students information and generate reports etc.
  • 13. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by P/VP/AM
Requirements
  • • GCE ‘O’ levels and/or Relevant WSQ certificates
  • • Basic Knowledge in wordprocessing
  • • At least 5 years working experience in similar position
  • • Strong professional phone etiquette
  • • Excellent communication skills
  • • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
