Job summary

Contract Period: 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026

Option to Extend: 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027

Mondays, Wednesday & Friday: 8:00am to 11:00am

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

The Services required are set out as follows:
1) Bonsai Care and Maintenance
  • Prune, wire, and shape Bonsai trees according to seasonal and aesthetic requirements.
  • Water, fertilize, and monitor Bonsai plants to maintain optimal health.
  • Manage Bonsai disease prevention and pest control using organic and environmentally friendly methods.
  • Repot Bonsai trees as needed, including root trimming and soil amendment.
2) General Plant and Landscape Maintenance
  • Maintain other ornamental plants and landscaped areas across the school campus.
  • Water, fertilize, prune, and weed gardens, planters, and green areas regularly.
  • Implement eco-friendly pest control and disease prevention methods.
  • Ensure plant health and report any major concerns to the facilities manager.
3) Equipment and Supplies Maintenance
  • Maintain gardening tools and equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage.
  • Order and restock supplies such as soil, fertilizer, and Bonsai-specific care items.
4) Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure that all gardening activities comply with school safety policies.
  • Follow proper disposal methods for gardening waste and manage resources responsibly.
