Job summary

SEGULA Technologies seeks an experienced Vehicle Software Integration Engineer to join an on-site Vehicle Integration Team supporting next-generation heavy‑duty truck electrical architectures. You will perform software flashing, integration iterations, and ensure test vehicles are ready for testing.

You may rotate between Gothenburg sites on a bi-weekly schedule, with potential moves across Lundby, Hällered, Arendal, Tuve, and AstaZero.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software integration in complex embedded automotive/truck systems.
• TEA2+ architecture experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with Volvo software downloading tools (TechTool, Engineering Tool, Prosit+).
• Proficient in Jira & Confluence workflows.
• Strong engagement, team mindset, and drive to solve technical challenges.
• Work permit in Sweden.

You will be responsible for software flashing, integration iterations, and ensuring target test vehicles are updated and ready for testing. In the role, you might rotate between sites on Gothenburg, Sweden (Rotating across Lundby, Hällered, Arendal, Tuve, AstaZero)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on SW integration iterations and ECU flashes on heavy-duty test vehicles.
• Utilize proprietary diagnostic and software downloading tools (TechTool, Engineering Tool, Prosit+).
• Document test iterations, status updates, and issue reports in Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with software integration in complex embedded automotive/truck systems (TEA2+ architecture experience is a strong plus).
• Experience with Volvo software downloading tools (TechTool, Engineering Tool, Prosit+).
• Proficiency in Jira & Confluence workflows.
• Strong engagement, team mindset, and drive to solve technical challenges.
• Meritorious: C or CE heavy vehicle driver's license, Linux knowledge.
• Work permit in Sweden.
