Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a designer-turned-engineer to shape how users interact with our Lakehouse data platform. You will work across design and software engineering to design, build and maintain user-facing tooling that empowers analysts and data scientists.

You will partner with users to understand their workflows, validate ideas with prototypes in Figma, and translate feedback into reliable, well-governed solutions across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, HCI, Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
• Strong grounding in design thinking and human-centered design.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and React; web standards knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting design work and collaboration.
• Independent thinker with ownership and attention to detail.
