Job summary

Alstom Transport AB is seeking a Traction Electrical Design Engineer in Västerås to drive circuit diagram design and routine tests. You'll collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to deliver propulsion products globally, guiding small project teams onsite and offsite.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Some experience in electrical engineering (traction engineering, circuit diagram design).
• Knowledge of E3 circuit diagram tools desirable.
• Experience planning, coordinating or leading a small team onsite/offsite.
• English, business fluent mandatory; Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design circuit diagrams and create routine test documentation for traction products.
• Drive and support technical investigations and design activities in development and field.
• Collaborate with system, manufacturing, and test engineers.
• Analyze customer requirements for circuit diagram design and tests.
• Support bid activities by translating requirements into design/test needs.
• Assist reviews with other functions and colleagues.
