Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB is seeking an experienced Integration Test & Validation Engineer to join our telematics-focused team in Sweden. You will perform end-to-end testing across backend, vehicle, mobile-app interfaces, and APIs to ensure robust system validation.

Responsibilities include validating interactions among TSP backend, TCU/TCAM, vehicle systems, and applications, with strong emphasis on SQL/NoSQL verification and log analysis using Kibana/ELK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Integration Testing, System Validation or Joint Debugging.
• Experience with Telematics, Connected Cars, TSP, TCU/T-Box or TCAM.
• Good SQL/database troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, TCP/IP and APIs.
• Experience with log analysis and distributed backend systems.
• Automotive OEM or Tier-1 experience is highly desirable.
• AWS/Azure, microservices, Python or Shell experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration and End-to-End (E2E) testing of telematics services.
• Validate interactions between TSP backend, TCU/TCAM, vehicle systems and mobile applications.
• Perform database verification and troubleshooting using SQL/NoSQL.
• Analyze backend logs using tools such as Kibana, ELK or Splunk.
• Test APIs and communication flows using Postman, curl, JMeter, etc.
• Troubleshoot cross-system issues involving App → Backend/TSP → Vehicle.
• Validate connected-car functions such as remote commands, vehicle status, OTA, eCall and remote diagnostics.
• Work closely with backend, vehicle, mobile-app and testing teams.
