NYAB in Hägersten, Stockholm, is hiring a Technical Procurement Manager to lead procurement for large‑scale solar and storage projects in the Nordics. You will dig into specifications with the engineering team to own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from early tendering to contracting, while negotiating terms and ensuring delivery.
The role requires a master’s degree in engineering, at least three years in complex procurement, and strong English communication.
Do you want to lead procurement for the construction of the largest solar and battery storage projects in the Nordics? We are looking for a skilled procurement professional with a strong commercial foundation and the curiosity to understand technical solutions in depth. You are willing to dig into specifications, ask questions and work closely with engineers and suppliers to make well-informed purchasing decisions in a rapidly evolving industry. Join us and be part of an ambitious team building the energy infrastructure of tomorrow.
As our Technical Procurement Manager, you will work at the intersection of long-term sourcing strategy and practical project delivery, leading procurement for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
Your scope will include core components and services such as solar modules, inverters, mounting systems, transformers, batteries, subcontractors and related technical solutions.
You will act as our internal product owner, digging into specifications, drawings and technical documentation together with the engineering team until you know the product as well as the supplier does.
You are a goal-oriented self-starter with the persistence to follow through and make things happen. You combine sound commercial judgment with technical curiosity and a willingness to work through details, ask questions and understand what you are buying. You remain composed during complex contractual discussions and take ownership of your commitments, combining speed with precision and going the extra mile when it matters. Along the way, you build trust with colleagues, suppliers and partners.
NYAB's greatest strength is our drive and the pride we take in our work. We all pull in the same direction – forward. We value people for their competence and initiative, and you get the freedom to act along with the accountability that comes with it.
Our entrepreneurial spirit is built on collaboration and commitment. We are a close-knit community where colleagues support one another, share knowledge and work together to find solutions when new challenges arise.
You will never work alone – you will have the support of colleagues and leaders, and plenty of room to grow.
