Job Description:

• Design, develop, and commission support of Pharmaceutical Distributed Control System (DCS) systems on-site (Key technology – Emerson DeltaV).
• Participate in the development and implementation of automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
• Collaborate with the automation team to design system architecture, design specification, control strategies, and library development.
• Provide day-to-day support for the DeltaV system in manufacturing operations.
• Support NC and CAPA processes, assisting in root cause identification.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the system and provide operational support.
• Handle field commissioning of automation equipment.
• Provide system administration and maintenance support.
• Assist in computer system validation and documentation support for automation systems.
• Coordinate with Operations, Process Teams, Equipment Vendors, and Technology Providers.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 10 -12 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in designing and commissioning of DeltaV DCS project for GMP manufacturing site.
• Strong understanding of physical and procedural layer design, development, and qualification.
• Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CMs, EMs, Phases, Recipes, Units, etc.) and pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical processes.
• Familiarity with automation hardware and networking technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS in batch environments.
• Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma.
• Effective team collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders for automation requirements.
