Job summary

Hiab is seeking a results-driven Project Manager, Technology & Controls, within Lifting Solutions R&D to lead the direction, execution and completion of strategic technical projects. You will own the project lifecycle, ensure alignment with budgets and processes, and mobilize internal teams and external consultants for high-impact initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field with formal PM qualification.
• 5+ years managing complex multidisciplinary engineering and R&D projects.
• Experience with HW/SW development lifecycles and PM methodologies.
• Experience with risk management and sourcing activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Swedish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of technology and controls projects within Lifting Solutions R&D.
• Define project scope, establish target metrics, and monitor progress for successful delivery.
• Manage budgets, resources, and cross-functional teams to meet goals on time and budget.
• Provide transparent status reporting to executive management and key stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate project risks to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate internal R&D teams, external consultants, and partners.
