Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Team Manager System Solutions for HVDC C&P - IT/CS to lead a specialist team responsible for IT and Cyber Security within HVDC Control and Protection systems.

The role combines deep technical know-how in industrial control, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity with proven leadership and project management skills. You will oversee the full lifecycle of IT and Cyber Security solutions, from requirements gathering and architectural design to implementation, testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 8 years in IT or Cyber Security roles with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Strong understanding of network architectures, OS (Windows/Linux), virtualization and cloud.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NERC CIP and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and specialists on IT and Cyber Security for HVDC Control & Protection systems.
• Oversee IT and Cyber Security solution lifecycle from requirements to implementation and commissioning.

Opportunity

As Team Manager System Solutions for HVDC C&P - IT/CS at Hitachi, you will lead a team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of IT and Cyber Security solutions within High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Control and Protection systems. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in industrial control systems, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity, coupled with proven leadership and project management skills.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and specialists focused on IT and Cyber Security aspects of HVDC Control & Protection systems.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT and Cyber Security solutions, from requirements gathering and architectural design to implementation, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop and implement strategies for secure and robust IT infrastructure within HVDC systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST).
• Collaborate closely with HVDC Control & Protection engineers to integrate IT/Cyber Security solutions seamlessly into the overall system architecture.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry trends relevant to HVDC systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT or Cyber Security roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management capacity.
• Good understanding of network architectures, operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations such as IEC 62443, NERC CIP, and ISO 27001.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Fluency in English is essential.
