Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Landskrona, Sweden, is seeking a System Engineer to strengthen the mechanical functions during system design, including pipe sizing and component selection for cooling systems. You will prepare purchasing specifications and engage with suppliers while supporting the sales team with technical questions during quotation stages.

You will collaborate with customers, colleagues, and other departments to deliver timely, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in system engineering, fluid dynamics, piping design or related structural calculations.
• Industry background in industrial cooling, water treatment or related fields is a plus.
• Able to work independently and deliver results on time.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for mechanical system functions during design, including pipe sizing and diagrams.
• Prepare purchasing specs for major components and liaise with suppliers.
• Support the sales team with technical questions during quotes and collaborate across departments.
