Job summary

Etteplan Oyj in Sweden is seeking an experienced System Engineer / System Safety Engineer to own the system level in projects. You will develop and manage system requirements, define architecture and coordinate integration across hardware, software, and systems.

Responsibilities

As a System Engineer / System Safety Engineer you have overall responsibility for the system level in our projects. Your tasks include:

• Developing and managing system requirements and ensuring traceability throughout the development chain
• Defining and further developing system architecture and design for complex technical solutions
• Coordinating and leading integration between hardware, software, and systems
• Driving and following up on verification and validation, including requirements fulfilment and test results
• Ensuring systems are robust, scalable and long-term sustainable
• Working closely with other specialists and translating operational and safety requirements into functional technical solutions

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in complex project environments who enjoys responsibility, structure and technical depth. The ideal candidate possesses:

• Solid experience in systems engineering in large, technically complex projects
• Practical work with requirements breakdown, architecture, integration and verification/validation
• Ability to see and manage the whole across multiple technical disciplines

Experience working methodically and quality-driven in regulated environments

A Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent competence acquired through experience
