2550 Engineering is seeking a System & Fullstack Engineer to help deliver advanced software and system solutions in Gothenburg. You will work across the stack with a backend focus and participate in architecture decisions and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in software or system development.
• Strong fullstack skills with a backend focus.
• Experience or interest in system and software architecture.
• Experience with Java, Go, Python, C++.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, integrations and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English and located in Gothenburg or nearby.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, APIs and integrations
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
• Develop across the stack using modern software development practices
• Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or similar
• Collaborate with engineers, customers and stakeholders from design to production
