Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB in Göteborg is seeking a System Engineer / Diagnostic Designer-Tester to lead embedded diagnostics design and testing in automotive projects.

You will work hands-on with CANalyzer, CANoe, Parallel Diag, DSA, Wireshark, DLT Viewer and Python; define datapoints for backend analysis and predictive maintenance; author software requirements per ASPICE; configure DTCs and UDS services; perform HIL verification.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems and hardware design for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic standards (ISO14229, SAE-J2012, SAE-1979).
• Author software requirements according to ASPICE (SYS and SWE).
• Knowledge of UDS, XCP and automotive protocols (Ethernet, CAN, LIN).
• Hands-on testing and fault injection in vehicles and HIL rigs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable diagnostic monitors and data points for backend analysis.
• Define control routines to support testing and workshop verification.
• Create and maintain DTCs and related data with UDS service configurations for subsystems.
• Read software code and contribute to test tool setups (CANalyzer, CANoe, DSA).
• Support HIL testing and real-world fault injection.
