Job summary

A leading consulting firm is looking for a Swift QA Engineer to perform testing across iOS, macOS, watchOS, and Apple devices. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in both manual and automation testing, particularly using Swift frameworks like XCTest and XCUI. The role requires collaboration with engineering and design teams to enhance product quality. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA testing. This is a hands-on position based in Malmö, requiring onsite work 5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Swift programming.
• Experience in test automation using XCTest/XCUI.
• Background in manual QA testing and structured test methodologies.
• Familiarity with Unix/shell scripting and Python for test workflows.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily functional and regression testing on iOS, macOS, watchOS, and related platforms.
• Design, document, and execute test cases, plans, and strategies.
• Identify, reproduce, and report bugs and usability issues.
• Automate manual test cases using Swift-based frameworks (XCTest / XCUI).
• Track test coverage, analyze results, and communicate quality metrics effectively.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine features.
• Maintain high attention to detail in product quality.
